It was 80-something degrees outside today. Also inside - if you were in the high school at all, you might have noticed that they don't appear to have turned on their air conditioning yet.
So I realized that I really need to go shopping. I don't have any shorts from last year that fit. Everyone at school had on pretty skirts and dresses. Today I actually wore a skirt/dress to school for the first time since first grade, I think. Unless you count skorts in third grade. Those were the best things ever invented. My friend Alicia would agree, as she was pretty much the queen of skorts back then. I wonder if they still make them in my size...?
Okay, sidetracked. My point is as follows:
Whenever I go shopping for clothes it seems like I end up buying things that I don't really like. I think my problem is that I don't really know what I like. So then I end up with average clothes that aren't really "me," ya know? Also I lack self-confidence. I think if I dressed like Sarah, it might be better. But right now I'm Average Girl (but not Average Moorestown Girl, believe me, there IS a difference).
When I was working on costumes for Anything Goes, I met a lot of really nice people with really nice clothes that perfectly reflect their personality. (Well, only 2 people, actually.) One of them has her hair dyed fire-engine red and wears the craziest outfits. I do admire her creativity. She has a blog, too: www.bonjourgirl.blogspot.com. The other friend (my adopted sophomore, since she calls me her adopted freshman) has the wardrobe I want. I would seriously wear all the same exact clothes as her. Maybe she would be my personal shopping buddy? Actually I'm sure she would love that title :)
In case you were wondering what Sarah wants to wear...
These are all from ModCloth, an online company whose clothing I own none of. But you get the idea. More later!!!

haha yes!!!! I was the queen of skorts. I wish that they did make skorts for our size people, but sadly I don't think they do. :)
