Freaking Out

Yep, so I'm still freaking out. What else is new?
So thanks to the advice of my one follower and every other friend, acquaintance, guidance counselor, and random person I've asked, I've decided to audition for Hairspray after all.
I printed out all the information and forms and found the sheet music online and printed that out too. Though I think that's probably illegal, because you can't usually get free sheet music online. Oh well.
In case you were wondering, all I have to do is sing 18 bars of "You Can't Stop the Beat."

"Ever since this old world began, a woman found out if she shook it she could shake up a man. And so I'm gonna shake and shimmy it the best that I can today, 'cause you can't stop the motion of the ocean or the sun in the sky. You can wonder if you wanna, but I never ask why. And  if you try to hold me down, I'm gonna spit in your eye and say that you can't stop the beat!"

Yeah, that's it, but it's a lot scarier when you're singing it in front of a lot of people. Especially Mrs. Haynes and the people that have been doing musical theater their whole lives.
Luckily, Concert Choir sang this at the Pops Concert (it was amazing), and Ms. Conrad would gladly help me with it. She's really easily manipulated. Also my parents filmed the concert and it's on youtube, too. In fact, I'll post it right here in case you missed it! I love their dance :)

I don't know how I always manage to put myself in these positions. Now I have two auditions in two days. But instead of whining about it, I should be practicing! So long for now. You know where I'll be at 2:25 Friday and 10:00 Saturday.
